Woodland Squirrel was a challenge due to the fact that their true habitat truly functions as a visible protection due to the squirrel being the same color as their environment. Creating a contrast of like colors was as rewarding as it was challenging. The fullness of the squirrels tail was part of the great fun and excitement this painting personally generated with me.
