The ocean landscape was painted to fit the sectioned window panes. My husband framed the painting to look like a window over the kitchen sink. With a new addiction added to the house the old kitchen window looked into the laundry room leaving a perfect space for a trompe l’ oiel. By creating a fake window any painting can become a view. You can also have ocean front property, formal gardens, or a mountain lake by just tricking the eye.
