This painting was inspired by a photograph my husband took as we were leaving the bay in San Diego for a cruise to Mexico. This 139 foot sleek yacht is named America. The sunset that evening was so brilliantly colorful that I wanted to capture to moment. The simplicity of this composition contributes to the peaceful, serene and calm emotions of softness and reflections..
