Pine burl from Buena Vista Colorado. The face of this raccoon belonged on this piece of pine. When my children were young we would feed the raccoons daily from our back deck in Lake Arrowhead California. We delighted in watching their behaviors, interactions with one another and humorous attempts to crack an egg. The raccoon has provided my family with hours of entertainment and I love painting these adorable creatures.
