This acrylic painting is meant to be a compliment to my youngest daughter’s heroic journey through her fight with cancer. She qualified for medical trials at Stanford University Medical Center due to being diagnosed with fourth stage mastized melanoma. In the last year Patricia was awarded a dream come true. She was dropped off by helicopter to snowboard down a mountain in Valdez Alaska. She meditates with her dragon statue visualizing it consuming her cancer. She has even taken it to treatments with her. Patricia was baptized this last year and has fallen totally in love with God. The visual of arc angle Michael with his sword and cross is my visualization. Her stamina, courage and resilience are reinforced by her two children, Drew 5 years old, Scottie 4 years old and her wonderful husband Dustin. She has a real princess and batman routing for her. Dustin burns bright with his vigilance, love, support and understanding. I can’t begin to find the words of how a mother and grandmother feel I can only say what I mean, with pictures of my heart.
