The Oregon Coast with its simple, uncontaminated, undeveloped and rustic feel was the motivation behind this inspiration. The simplicity of this piece is what attracts many viewers’ attention and comments. I was both surprised and amazed that Ocean View is one of the favorites as I usually am intrigued by seascapes that have better contrast. Thank fully true beauty belongs to each of us individually depending on what we resonate to. The outrageous wonder and blessings of being an artist is to see each painting again and again through other people’s eyes. I just love that.
