This fantasy waterfall was inspired by camp trips throughout Colorado. I could feel the mist in the air, hear the rushing water and experience the tranquility as I painted this scene. Blue is a healing color and invites serenity and quiet reflection. The original oil painting is large enough that you can truly get lost by just gazing at the water fall and allow your imagination to let you be sitting in front of a campfire taking in the spectacular beauty of nature in it's nighttime splendor.
