This painting is part of a series I have been painting the eagle because it is a lifetime symbolic mentor of power, grace and beauty. I have dreamed of flying with eagles since I was a child. I have had numerous, wondrous encounters with eagles in my life, which explains my passion to paint them. This painting has less landscape and scenery so that the eagle can be the main focus. The brilliant colors, rugged mountains and misty morning just add to the majesty of the power and wonder of this regal creature.
