Lying Lion is another painting for me which literally emerged on its own merit. I had the vision of a tiger which I extracted from my imagination only to find that the tiger reminded me more of a panda bear. As I worked to correct the panda bear image I saw this lions face and finished with Lying Lion. A funny story, one of my best friends commented that he looked like he got stuck in front of a hairdryer and was having a bad hair day. I have to admit I now see only his bad hair day first and chuckle every time.
