We have birdfeeders in our yard and love watching the finches, humming birds and hand feeding our blue jays. I assumed this beautiful yellow bird was a finch since they vary in colors from yellow, oranges to varying shades of burgundy. After some research I discovered our yellow friend is actually an Oreo who migrates here only certain times a year. I have been told a visitation from the Oreo is a sign of good luck. I love capturing the beauty and awesome varieties of all of God’s creatures.
