Bursting Bouquet was a freeing, fun, allowing the creative flow to just happen. I had just finished a very detailed, exact, painting where my perfectionism ruled for several days. I wanted to break loose and be free, and this is what happened. I think I am beginning to understand the philosophy behind a painting a day. It is freeing, whimsical without the frustration of needing to do it perfectly. The brilliancy of the color combination really speaks to my playful childlike side of me.
